NHIS 2009 Health Insurance Coverage Estimates Released

June 21, 2010. The National Center for Health Statistics released its report, "Health Insurance Coverage: Early Release of Estimates from the National Health Interview Survey, 2009."   The estimates of health insurance coverage are the first national estimates released for 2009.  The report includes estimates for the US and for the 20 most populated states.

2009 NHIS Uninsurance Estimates Released

The National Center for Health Statistics has released 2009 health insurance coverage estimates from the National Health Interview Survey.  The report, "Health Insurance Coverage: Early Release of Estimates from the National Health Interview Survey, 2009," provides the first look at uninsurance estimates for 2009 for the nation overall and for the 20 largest states in terms of population.

NCHS Health Insurance Estimates Released

July 1, 2009. The National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) today released two new reports relating to health insurance estimates.

New Research Data Center to Open at UMN

February 3, 2009.  The University of Minnesota’s State Health Access Data Assistance Center (SHADAC) and Minnesota Population Center (MPC) recently received approval from the National Science Foundation (NSF) and United States Census Bureau to open the Minnesota Research Data Center (MNRDC) in January of 2010. The RDC allows access to confidential (non-public) data for research in a highly secure environment and has potential applications across the university.
