The National Center for Health Statistics has released 2009 health insurance coverage estimates from the National Health Interview Survey.  The report, "Health Insurance Coverage: Early Release of Estimates from the National Health Interview Survey, 2009," provides the first look at uninsurance estimates for 2009 for the nation overall and for the 20 largest states in terms of population.

A companion report was also released, titled, "Early Release of Selected Estimates Based on Data From the 2009 National Health Interview Survey."  This release provides measure s of health access and health status for 2009.
