Mr. Fried joined SHADAC as a Senior Research Fellow in October 2011.   He has spent the last 15 years in research at the Senior Researcher level.   Prior to joining SHADAC he worked as a Senior Research Economist at the Health Economics Program at the Minnesota Department of Health.  Mr. Fried acted as the lead MDH analyst for all aspects of the Minnesota Health Access Survey, including sampling, form design, data collection, cleaning, weighting and the production and dissemination of results.   He holds an M.S. in Economics from Oregon State University and a B.S. in Economics from the University of Vermont.
