Jessie Kemmick Pintor, M.P.H.

Jessie Kemmick Pintor is currenlty pursuing a Ph.D. in Health Services Research at the Univeristy of Minnesota. Her research interests are centered on the intersection of immigration, health care, and policy, in particular the barriers that exist for immigrant communities in accessing quality, comprehensive health care. Prior to working at SHADAC, Jessie worked at the School of Nursing and the Center for Leadership Education in Maternal & Child Health, both at the University of Minnesota, and at Centro Inc., a social service agency serving Latino immigrants in Minneapolis. She holds a master’s degree in public health from the University of Minnesota and a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Concordia University.
