Ms. Turner joined SHADAC in March 2010 as a Senior Research Fellow.  She has over nine years of experience working with federal population surveys.  Prior to joining SHADAC, she was a statistician at the U.S. Census Bureau working on the topic of health insurance coverage.  During her time at the Census Bureau she evaluated the new health insurance question on the American Community Survey as well as working with the Current Population Survey and the Small Area Health Insurance Estimates Program.  Ms. Turner holds a master’s degree in statistics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Spanish from the University of Minnesota-Morris.
