Ms. Hartman joined SHADAC as a Senior Research Fellow in April of 2011.  She has seven years of experience conducting health services research and policy analysis.  Prior to joining SHADAC, she worked as the Research and Policy Director at Portico Healthnet and as a Senior Research Economist in the Health Economics Program (HEP) at the Minnesota Department of Health.  Past experience also includes work with Medicare claims and SEER registry data as a Research Fellow in the Division of Health Policy and Management.  Ms. Hartman holds a master’s degree in public policy from the University of Minnesota and a bachelor’s degree in Women’s Studies and Political Science from Macalester College.
