Presentation by Dr. Vincent Mor at AcademyHealth's 2011 Annual Research Meeting.  Dr. Mor compares provides an overview of the HEALTHpact initiative and details the findings from a SHARE-funded evaluation of HEALTHpact.  The presentation closes with the implication of these findings for implementation of the federal Affordable Care Act, pointing to the importance of premium subsidies, broker buy-in, outreach/oversight, and simplicity with respect to wellness incentives.

The presentation provides an overview of New Mexico's SCI program and details the results of a SHARE-funded evaluation looking at factors affecting employer participation in the program.  Ms. Spicer concludes by discussing the implications of these findings for the implementation of the federal Affordable Care Act.

SHADAC Director Lynn Blewett spoke during a webinar for states that have received Affordable Care Act insurance exchange planning grants from the Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight (CCIIO).  She discussed the background research that states should conduct, explaining spreadsheet vs. microsimulation approaches and identification of key modeling variables along with the appropriate data sources for measuring them.
