This presentation describes the new questions related to medical out-of-pockect spending added to the Current Population Survey in 2010 (referencing calendar year 2010).  The authors use state-level data to estsimate the variation in the burden of high out-of-pocket spending across states.

This presentation and associated paper describe a model developed by SHADAC researchers to predict lack of insurance coverage for Minnesota counties using multiple data sources. While the results are exploratory in nature, the methodology allows for additional applications using the Bayesian framework developed.

This presentation describes research using regression-based imputation methods to assign probability of legal status to non-citizen adults that provides the basis for improved estimates of the number, composition, and location of the populations that will be eligible for coverage under the 2012 Affordable Care Act Medicaid expansion and the new health insurance exchanges.

This presentation describes the response rate experiment conducted as part of the 2011 Minnesota Health Access Survey.  The experiment involved the use of financial incentives among landline and cell phone frames of this randome digit dial study.
