Combining Data from National Surveys to Improve Estimates of the Population Eligible for Medicaid under the ACA
Presentation by SHADAC Senior Research Fellow Brett Fried at the Minnesota Health Services Research Conference, held March 6, 2012 in St. Paul, MN.
This presentation describes research using regression-based imputation methods to assign probability of legal status to non-citizen adults that provides the basis for improved estimates of the number, composition, and location of the populations that will be eligible for coverage under the 2012 Affordable Care Act Medicaid expansion and the new health insurance exchanges.
