This webinar is the third in SHARE's Great Research Conversations series and features Sharon Long, Senior Economist at SHADAC, and Audrey Gasteier,  Director of Health Systems Policy and the Massachusetts Division of Health Care Finance and Policy.

Dr. Long presents findings from her research using the National Health Interview Survey (NHIS) to evaluate state health reform in New York and Massachusetts, discussing the feasibility of using national survey data to examine the impacts of health reform in individual states, given issues such as small sample sizes and delays in data availability.  Ms. Gasteier speaks from a state perspective on the need for data to support state policy-making and evaluations related to health reform, discussing Massachusetts’ experience in this area.

PDF versions of Dr. Long's slides can be found in the Downloads section below.  (Ms. Gasteier's presentation is audio-only.)
