California's Implementation of the Affordable Care Act: How Medi-Cal expansion has impacted health care access and health status for low-income Californians
Natalie Schwehr, SHADAC Senior Research Associate, was invited by the Center of California Studies at Sacramento State University to give a webinar presentation on Friday, January 28, as part of their "Envisioning California Speaker Series." Dr. Schwehr presented a study conducted by herself and several other SHADAC researchers that was recently published in the California Journal of Politics and Policy (CJPP), entitled Impacts of the Affordable Care Act Medicaid Expansion in California. Dr. Schwehr was also joined by Scott Bain, Principal Consultant for the California State Assembly Committee on Health, for a discussion of the study findings.
