Jhih-Yun Liu joined SHADAC as a Graduate Research Assistant in June 2020. She is a Ph.D. student in the Applied Economics Program at the University of Minnesota. She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Agricultural Economics from National Taiwan University. Her research interests fall within the intersection of agricultural economics, rural economics, and economic history. She has been working on research related to farm succession, rural migration, and rural mortality in the U.S. agricultural sector.
