Sayeh Nikpay, PhD, MPH is a health economist and Associate Professor at the UMN School of Public Health, Division of Health Policy and Management. Examples of Dr. Nikpay’s research include estimating the impact of Medicaid expansions on low-income populations and the hospitals that serve them, the targeting of hospital safety-net subsidies such as the 340B drug discount program, and the role of safety-net providers in interfacility transfer networks.
Dr. Nikpay received her doctorate and master’s degree from University of Michigan and her bachelor’s degree from Macalester College.
