Andrea Stewart, MA
Research Fellow

Andrea Stewart joined SHADAC in 2018 as a Marketing and Communications Specialist, providing project research, editorial, and presentation support to internal staff and external partners; organizing and executing external communications outreach to SHADAC audiences; and managing SHADAC’s web and social media presence.

Currently, her research work focuses on the topic of health equity, and understanding the impacts of the coronavirus on federal survey data, as well as its impacts on health insurance coverage, access and affordability of care, and adult stress levels and coping mechanisms during the pandemic.

Ms. Stewart previously worked as an Editorial Assistant at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, and as an Executive Assistant and Grant Writer in the Division of Rheumatic and Autoimmune Diseases at the University of Minnesota. Ms. Stewart completed a Master of Arts in English from the University of St. Thomas and holds a Bachelor of Arts in both English and Theater from Gustavus Adolphus College.
